Right Thinking = Great Attitude
John Maxwell says, "Never underestimate the power of your attitude. It is the advance man of our true selves. It’s roots are inward, but its fruit is outward. It is our best friend, or our worst enemy. It is the thing which draws people to us or repels them. It is never content until it is expressed."
Right thinking, creates GREAT results. If that statement is true, then what are you thinking about? If you believe, you will achieve! Do you believe that? If you think you can’t, you’re right, but if you think you can, nothing will stop you from accomplishing your goal.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege to meet with a lady who really needed a job. She had some major legal deadlines that were coming up and she needed a job so that she could take care of herself and her children. She was depressed, and quickly moving to hopelessness. I asked some questions and came to the conclusion that she was going to have a VERY difficult time getting a job if she didn’t change her thinking.
What are you thinking about in the midst of your job search? Do you believe you will get the job? Zig Ziglar states in his book, "Something to Smile About," many people have stated that attitudes are more important than facts, and research establishes that something like 85 percent of the reason we get jobs and get ahead in those jobs has to do with our attitude."
Henry David Thoreau:
“If you advance with confidence in the direction of your dreams and endeavor to live the life that you have imagined, you will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. You will put some things behind you and you will pass through an invisible boundary to a state where new universal and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within you.”
