I have been traveling this week and I am staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center - Nashville. It has been a wonderful experience because of the level of service given by the employees.
Gaylord Careers, the website prospective employees can pursue an opportunity to work for this exquisite hotel. One of the first things you learn at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center is that their employees are called Stars!
Are you qualified to be a Star? Here are the qualifications:

According to their website, “These are the qualities we look for in every employee, in every position, within Gaylord Entertainment.” WOW!
What Qualifies You to do what you do every day? What Qualifies You for the next job opportunity you are considering? Do you have any of the qualifications needed to work at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center? I dare you to give yourself honest feedback about your qualifications. Dare I say that these qualities are missing from many employees. Dare I say that most employers don’t have these expectations of their employees.
What Qualifies You to do what you do? Or what you hope to do? Can I challenge you to review the qualifications to be employed by Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center - Nashville. You may not want to work here, but I’ll tell you, more people should be required to meet the basic qualifications of Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Their expectations are high, but I haven’t seen one person in their organization miss the mark over the last 3 days. I will be here 2 more days. I will update this post if I find anything different, but I am already convinced that this organization has found a missing ingredient for most organization. You take the Gaylord test and let me know how you measure up against their standards!
